The recommendation is oils do not go on skin ages five and under, which is why we invented our products. The oils go on your Hug and not the child. If you are concerned, add the oil, wait for it to dry, then give it to your child.

Ideally hand washing is best. However, Hugs can be put in a washer and dryer machine on low heat as long as they are protected in a pillowcase or in a pants pocket. If they do fall apart in the process, please contact us immediately. WE RECOMMEND USING A SCENT FREE DETERGENT. **Please do not use Hugs as dryer balls.

Putting your hug in a bag of uncooked rice overnight will help absorb the excess oil. Next time oiling use less oil or use the pet oil method. Rub the oil on your hands first and then rub your hands on the Hug.

Pocket Hugs are about the size of an adults hand. The are typically 3-4 inches, making them the perfect size to fit in a pocket.

Yes, Whiffy will be glad to write letters by special request. To request, please contact our customer service.

Custom color requests can be made for existing Hugs. We no longer accept complete custom orders unless we release one as a prize or special occasion.

You can change oils as often as you would like. We are aware that changing oils is a big issue in the oil community and we are working to solve that issue.

One thing that our customers are discovering is that each purchase comes with a flower glued to our package insert. That flower holds our Signature Scent to remind you that Whiffahugs products are intended to be used with essential oils. All products within the bag are however sealed off in separate bags away from our Signature Scent to ensure that they remain scent free. We know that oils are a very personal thing so we want to leave the oiling of your products up to you.
Our signature scent is not available for purchase, the exact mix is Top Secret.

Unless your child reacted to our Signature Scent, we are not reliable for your child’s reaction. All products are individually sealed for your choice of oil. We recommend you contact your oil brand if your child has an allergic reaction.
